Hello there! My name is Neston Linden Ruppelt. I will be changing my name as soon as I can, but for now, you can also call me Joy- at least until my name is changed legally. I go by they/them/themself pronouns, as well as sou/soul/souls/soulself neopronouns. Here is my pronouns.page for future reference. If you can't call me by those pronouns, then.. what are you doing in a job like this? We're inclusive here, whether your beliefs align with mine doesn't have anything to do with how someone refers to another with their pronouns, to be honest. Not respecting another's pronouns and name only serves to make a relationship worse and tear it apart rather than build it up and reach new heights.
I'm autistic, and have SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder). My audial processing is not very good either, so if you give me instructions, just.. write them down on a sticky note or text me with it. My phone number is in my resume. It will be easier for everyone involved to not have to repeat themselves. My visual processing is much better than my audial.
I love art, it is my passion. I hope to find a company who is willing to let me freelance under contract at home, and not come in for work except for the first day and the interview, if possible. My SPD really makes it hard for me to work in a workplace, as the loud noise tends to distract me and make it harder for me to get work done. I'm mainly a worker who can work with others, but if that is the case I tend to become the leader because of my strong personality. I hope to learn from others, but also teach others what I know... In either an equal setting or a freelancer-to-freelancer setting. I can take direction, I just need to respect the person first. It helps to get a feel for what the leader knows and their qualifications before following them, that way I'm not going in blind.Â
